UI/UX Designer

We are looking for an exceptional UX/UI Designer to join our team. We need someone who can map out an optimized user flow for several Web-based products that work together, based on evidence and an understanding of our users’ needs. You will be responsible for the overall UX strategy as well as the design of screen-to-screen workflows. You should be able to express your ideas clearly to team members from various departments using wireframes and presentations.

The ideal candidate will also be proficient in creating specific UI layouts, graphics and HTML. Proficiency in Photoshop, Dreamweaver and CSS will make you stand out. They should be comfortable in all parts of the user-centered design process including: research methods, user interviews, personas, wireframes, information architecture diagrams, screen designs, interaction designs and UI specifications.

Responsibilities:

*Working with Development and the broader organization, formulate the user experience strategy for our family of products.

*Design UX and UI for screens, features, and flows for websites, mobile sites, apps, widgets, and other product platforms.

*Research our users’ experience and conduct usability tests.

*Iterate on user-flow designs based on research and testing.

*Present design proposals to and get buy-in from Development and other parts of the company.

*Transition from the abstract to the concrete: Mock up layouts (screens) and create graphical assets (buttons, icons, etc.) for user interfaces across several platforms.

*Build working user-interface layouts in (X)HTML and CSS.

Qualifications:

*Well-versed in User Experience principles and problem-solving techniques
*Able to understand user psychology and motivations

*Proficient in Balsamiq, iRise and/or other wireframing tool

*Familiar with XHTML and CSS (familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus)

*Able to communicate UX ideas to developers, project management and the broader organization

*Good graphic design skills

*Experienced with the Agile development environment; able to deliver UX feedback on a weekly basis

*Good verbal and written communication skills

*Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver

*Familiarity with Flash, Flash Catalyst and other Adobe CS products is a plus

*Must have an eye for detail and an opinion

*Must have the ability to take creative direction and play well with other designers and team members

*5 or more years of UX/UI design experience

*B.A. in graphic arts, graphic design, information architecture or psychology is a plus

*Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus

Drupal Developer:

Location: Columbus, OH

Strong Drupal Developer needed for a top notch Columbus based firm.  MySQL and Linux are both needed

Electrical Designer: 

Will be producing electrical designs and drawings for air pollution control equipment. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or the like, three to five years experience in electrical design work including motor control centers, variable frequency drives and industrial control networks using CAD software. Knowledge of PLC design and programming, HMIs and automated control systems. Familiarity with NEC preferred.

Civil Designer:

Will be producing structural designs, final layouts and assembly drawings for air pollution control systems The job requires an Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology, or the like, relevant experience in fabrication, structural steel and mechanical equipment, and proficiency with AutoCAD required.

Looking for someone with structural design experience. Not bridges or roads. Someone who has worked with foundations and structures.

Designer salary range is $35k to 40k per year depending on experience, etc.

TITLE: Software Engineeer

GENERAL SUMMARY

Research, analyze, design, develop and/or modify application and data systems as assigned. Provide both systems maintenance and systems development capabilities to the organization. Support production systems

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• -Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming and data systems including encoding, testing, debugging and creating installation capabilities to support an organization's application systems.
• -Participates in the design of future capabilities. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to resolve user issues.
• -Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• -Frequently relies on instructions and/or pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• -Take part in developing instructions and/or guidelines.
• -Works under limited supervision.
• -Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related work experience
• -4 years experience in the Information Technology field as a systems developer
• -Experience in the following is required: Asp.net, Ado.net, C# / VB.net, SQL Server 2005, XML – XSD – XSLT, IIS, HTML, Web Services, OOP concepts, JavaScript, Linq
• -Clear understanding of the technology used within the environment
• -An understanding of relational database architecture and SQL skills.
• -Ability to apply systems knowledge to business need
• -Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work well in a high paced team environment, and strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must
• -Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a commitment to growing with the company
• -A working knowledge of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) methodologies and experience in developing, tracking and completing project tasks a plus

• Establishing energy goals for project designs and long term operation.
• Research and application of alternative funding methods including grants, utility rebates, and EPACT.
• Expanding the implementation of BIM in our design process.
• Energy modeling and analyses to optimize overall building design.
• System types to include geothermal systems, ice storage, variable refrigerant flow, chilled beams, etc.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Must have the ability to lead and to collaborate with other team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Professional Engineer registration.
• Experience with Revit and/or BIM is desirable.
• LEED Accredited Professional is desirable.

Title:  Electrical Engineer

Location:  North of Cincinnati/South of Dayton

• -12 + years
• -70K would be minimum
• -Designing and implementing industrial power systems including transformers, switchgear, plant distribution, power quality and power factor adjustments and incorporation of large horsepower and DC adn AC Drives.
• -Strong PLC, circuits, controls and drives programming and troubleshooting.
• -Mechanical aptitude with strong hands-on exp on motors, supoort equipment, etc.
• -Electrical Contracting License is a plus.
• -Be able to trouble shoot over the phone (other plants call for help)
• -Transformer experience
• -AC/DC Exp.
• -Exp working with Drivers
• -The 50% travel would be all over.  Could be driving or flying to a new plant, staying 2 weeks and coming back.
• -Be able to go to plants that are being built and determine if they have enough power.
• -Find ways to save energy within the Buildings
• -Strong Plant Facilities type.  Must have facility background.
• -Does NOT Have to have a DEGREE. 
• -Would head their Engineering Task force to take cost out of plant.
• -Typical day when in plant is 8-5
• -Strong EE programming is nice, but not a must.
• -AutoCAD is needed but the ideal would also have DirectSOFT.
